Updated Mask Policy As of Friday 6/18/21
The Parish Council would like to allow worshippers who have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19 to attend services without wearing masks. This is based on guidelines issued by CDC and the continued downward trend in COVID infection rates in Connecticut. As per state guidance issued June 1, unvaccinated people, (including children over the age of 2), must wear masks indoors. Of course, anyone who would like to continue to wear a mask to church is welcome to do so.
In an attempt to make church comfortable for everyone, we will reserve an area of the church for vaccinated people where masks are required for all and social distancing will be followed as we had been doing. This is for any potential vulnerable parishioners, or those who would feel more comfortable sitting in this area. Ushers will direct people to these seats if they choose to be seated in the masked and socially-distanced section. We're sorry if this displaces anyone from their desired seat in church.
We ask for all of you to please abide by these rules and treat the ushers respectfully. Again, the Parish Council will continue to review and possibly update these rules monthly.
