The Ladies Society of St. Nicholas is part of a beautiful tradition that began in 1973, when His Eminence Metropolitan Philip (Saliba) of Thrice-Blessed Memory inspired the formation of the Antiochian Women across North America. Following in that spirit, the women of St. Nicholas have carried on this legacy within our own parish, building a strong, faithful, and beloved ministry.
Our purpose is to foster Christian leadership, awareness, and commitment among the women of our community; to offer genuine love and service through charitable works; and to strengthen fellowship and deepen our understanding of our Holy Orthodox Faith.
Here at St. Nicholas, the Ladies Society welcomes women ages 19 to 99 to join us in this ministry of service, sisterhood, and devotion. Every woman in our parish is invited to be part of this enduring and life-giving work of “serving Christ by serving others.”

ANTIOCHIAN WOMEN PRAYER
In the Name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.
O Christ our God, we are all pledged to serve Thee with our whole being. Help us to continue to work for Thee through our Church without seeking praise, without seeking personal gain, without judging others, without a feeling that we have worked hard enough and now must allow ourselves rest. Give us strength to do what is right and help us to go on striving and to remember that activities are not the main thing in life. The most important thing is to have our hearts directed and attuned to Thee. Amen.
